Our Vision is to...

   Instill a passion for Learning.

Inspire a life of Christian Service.

   Ignite the Imagination.

Janis Marie Rasoletti began teaching at Bethany in 1981. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory in 1976. Janis was a substitute teacher at Cleveland Metropolitan Schools (1976-1978) and a Preschool Teacher at Holy Cross Lutheran School (1979-1980).

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her ten grandchildren, scrapbooking/card making, and hiking/exploring nature.

Mrs. Rasoletti works with

Bethany students to develop a lifelong love of praising and worshiping our God through

His gift of music.

The music program at Bethany consists of general music classes for children in grades one through eight.

Along with instruction in music theory and history, students participate in many hands-on activities that include classroom percussion instruments, tone chimes, and recorders and keyboards.

Students also participate in several choirs that are based on their age level. The most important aspect of choir is learning to serve the Lord through music. Each choir sings for worship at least once a month and prepares special music for Advent and Christmas. In Spring of each year, the choirs perform in a musical or concert.

Bethany also has a band program under the direction of Mr. Paul Rasoletti. Beginning in fourth grade, students can receive small group instruction, specific to the students instrument of choice, along with a large ensemble practice.
