Biography

In Art, we explore the elements and principals of design. Line, shape, color, space, texture, form and balance, variety, repetition, emphasis...all the "ingredients" that create a good piece of artwork. We also study art history, different artists, styles and movements.

Students are taught techniques as well as encouraged to express their own unique ideas and visions. Lessons are correlated with classroom activities and we have the special privilege of integrating our faith and praising God through our creative endeavors.

Mrs. Arthur works

directly with her students

and challenges them

to explore all types of

techniques and media.
