   Junior High students are provided with many opportunities to prepare them for their upcoming high school educational experiences. Having a team-teaching departmentalization setting, truly nurtures their learning experiences and prepares them for what is ahead. With a strong emphasis on " Honoring Christ Through Excellence" Philippians 4: 8-9, students are reminded daily of the gifts and treasures each one has from God.

   Some students participate in Distance Learning avenues with Spanish and Algebra taught via our Lutheran High School West, while others shine in our academic classrooms. Students also have many extracurricular opportunities to prepare them for educational transitions ahead.

Mrs. Morrison is  an advisor for the

"Power of the Pen"  writing competition held in the spring.

     It’s been twenty seven years of fabulous teaching for Mrs. Janet Morrison. Bethany has been blessed to have her be a part of their staff for sixteen of those years.

     Janet has earned two educational degrees. She has a BS in Education (Elementary grades 1-8) and a BS in High School Economics (grades 7-12) from Concordia, River Forest and Rosary Catholic College. Her teaching career has taken her to many schools, including: Lutheran High School South, Chicago (Home Economics), St. Thomas Lutheran School (7th-8th grade teacher), Lakewood City Schools (Adult Education/Home Economics - 4 years), and Rocky River City Schools (Home Economics - 5 years).

     Mrs. Morrison is a member of HECTA (National Home Economics Career and Technology Association). She is a grandmother and enjoys working out at Curves, gardening, and cooking.
