Mrs. Christie Walkem has been teaching for 4 years and began teaching at Bethany Lutheran School this 2011-2012 school year. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre K-3), which she earned from Ashland University in 2004. She also holds a Masters degree in Education from Bowling Green State University, which she earned in 2008.

     Before becoming a teacher at Bethany, she was the Lead Teacher and Director at Columbia Cooperative Nursery School.

     She is a member of the Parma Early Childhood, PTA and enjoys scrapbooking, reading books, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Christie Walkem - Preschool 3's

In 3 year old Preschool, we will explore various activities so each child is able to develop at their own pace. The activities center around kindergarten readiness, such as fine and gross motor skills, listening, language, and socialization.

Children will delight in all the different centers/areas the preschool classroom has to offer such as computers, writing, housekeeping, reading, art, and music.

Children will also learn the love of Jesus and how to share His love with others.
