ART PROGRAM

The Art program at Bethany Lutheran School is taught by practicing artist and teacher, Mrs. Joleen Arthur.  Students in grades K-8 explore the principles of artistic design and learn techniques that help them express their creative thoughts using a variety of media.  They study and learn to appreciate all of God's beautiful creation and the colors, shapes, and textures used by God to create the amazingly interesting world in which we live. Seventh and eighth grade students complete weekly assignments through the use of a sketch book.

Student Artwork is displayed throughout the school building to highlight the design projects that the students are working on.

Each year, during the month of January, Bethany is privileged to be invited to submit 12 pieces of student artwork into the annual Padua Franciscan High School Elementary Art Show.
