Human Care Ministry
The Board of Human Care Ministry consists of three elected members, a Deacon and a Pastor. Their main goal is to provide information to Bethany members about services available in time of need. This board coordinates and encourages volunteers in activities of special projects, manages the Benevolence Fund, and collaborates with other Boards in providing service. Examples of their ministry include: encouraging members to visit shut-ins, setting up annual Health Fair / Red Cross blood drives, serving monthly at a hunger center, providing and serving meals at the men's homeless shelter, providing food baskets to those in need at Thanksgiving and Christmas, collecting used cell phones with in-home chargers and eyeglasses, collecting pull tabs from cans for Ronald McDonald House, and encouraging donations to the Benevolence Fund. For more information about any project, please call Lois McNabb at 216-676-5399.
